Liesel Hansen and Taylor Yee each scored three goals to lead Maple Mountain to a 9-5 victory over Wasatch in a Region 7 girls lacrosse game on Friday. Hansen and Yee paced the Maple Mountain offense, which built a 6-5 halftime lead and pulled away with three goals in the second half. Myarae Pilati added two goals, and Jaynee Tanner scored one. Hannah Warren led the Maple Mountain defense with four ground balls, while goalie Abby Stringham made eight saves in 48 minutes to secure the win.
